Church Leadership
Our church is led by a plurality of elders, each of whom are ordained shepherds in Christ’s church. They are not merely a board of advisers; they are our pastors who share together in the work of shepherding, teaching, oversight, prayer, and the care of souls.
Chuckie Cowan
Chuckie has served as an elder at Calvary since 2021, and he has been part of this church since boyhood. He and his wife, Krystal, have three children and are lifelong residents of Macon County. He owns a small business and regularly studies modern Reformed writers and pastors.
Craig Harris
Craig has been part of Calvary since 2018 and has served as an elder since 2021. A lifelong resident of Sumner County, he has worked for many years as a newspaper editor and sportswriter and remains closely involved in local and college sports.
Eric Hollingsworth
Eric is married to Maria, and they have three sons. Since 2022 he has preached regularly at Calvary, serving our congregation through the ministry of the Word alongside the elders. He holds a BA in Biblical Literature and a MA in Church Education from Western Seminary, and has retired after pastoring for many years in California.
Joe Vest
Joe serves as an elder at Calvary. He and his wife, Lucie, have two adult children and have been part of the congregation since 2024. He holds a diploma in Ministerial Studies from Global University. For many years he has served in a mix of volunteer and paid ministry roles while also working as a technology executive.
